This app is great! You can see the relationship between the carbon intensity (gCO2) per kWh every 5 minutes in the UK.  The application has a list of the different kinds of energy like gas, coal, nuclear, wind, and hydro. I guess that you know which is the energy that raises your carbon footprint easily? Yes, the gas represents 43.5%, and the coal represent 16%, which is what was stated by January 19^th 2010. In contrast, wind energy represents 1.0%, and hydro energy represents 1.0% on the same day. The good point is the company starting with this unique idea in the UK, I would like to see the same information from different countries, so that people can compare and analyze them.  The bad point is that I can’t see any chart!!!  Anyway, thanks guys you have done a great job!

If people know their carbon footprint measure, people would act with more coherence against daily bad consumer habits. That is exactly what ICarbon does; it helps people to measure the amount of CO2 that each individual produces everyday. The idea is super! But, the results with the application are poor! The application doesn’t work when you try to check your carbon footprint; it immediately disappears off your iphone screen. Guys, you should fix this app immediately!
